Supported Employment and Independent Living Services
Independent Employment Services
Independent providers are also available and provide supports to individuals on a one on one basis. These providers are often hired by the organizations above to provide services such as job development and job coaching. To access these services you will need to have a source of funds to purchase their services. The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) will purchase these services and they maintain a list of qualified providers.

Advocacy OrganizationsOne way to get involved and make a difference for yourself and other is to participate in an advocacy group. There are many groups available and each has its own focus. The following are a few of the groups in Anchorage.
