Determine your business potential

Considering your personal strengths is a step that is often overlooked. Take a moment to reflect what makes you, you. What do you enjoy? When do you perform your best? Think about what doesn’t work for you, anticipate areas in which you will need support. How will your attributes help or hinder your business venture?

The following are some good sites which provide tools to help you decide if you are ready to start a small business. There are many factors to consider. These pages may give you a feel for the things you will need to think about. Keep in mind that you are considering a microenterprise and that your needs will be less than most businesses. The following tools are largely for people considering larger business ideas but they are still useful tools to identify needs and talents. Keep in mind that not all of these issues will be a concern for your micro business.

Determine your personal potential

A great way to assess your personal potential is to get together with people you know and develop a Person Centered Plan.
